Charlie's tail

After I got home from picking Charlie up from the groomers last week I noticed his tail. Not quite sure of why exactly the groomer did this because it looks pretty silly. I don't know if you can tell from the picture but it is shaved close at the top and then just a big sausage thing at the end. Peter and the kids asked me to shave it all the same so it wouldn't look so ridiculous, but that would require me to do something else and so I declined.
Charlie doesn't seem to care.
