Skating

The last time I remember going skating was my freshman year of high school. (That would be 20 years ago folks.) It is possible that somewhere between then and when I graduated in 1992 I went again, but not that I recall.

The first hurtle, of course, was to ask for a size 11 in womens.
I know. It's bad. I made Peter do it. I think they just gave me a ten in mens.

We had so much fun! It took me a while to get back into the swing of it--at first I made the kids hold on to me. But eventually I got back into it and was whirling the girls around the rink. "Mom! You're going too fast!"

There were some kids there who obviously do this kind of thing pretty often. They were all in sync with the music and had dance steps, break dancing, etc. The music was mostly 80's Pop and such--
Hello" Thriller!"
No doubt we'll be doing this again.
Peter and I think we should dress up for "Disco Nite" on Saturdays so we can get a discount. We have the greatest pair of brown polyester pants we've used on many a Halloween for Peter that would be just perfect.

Don't think I have ever been roller skating...roller blading, and ice skating, yes, but never roller skating! Looks like fun!

We used to go there all the time when we lived in Provo. Yes, Disco Night is all that it is cracked up to be!

Jim and I rocked the disco night at the skate rink in college. We dressed up, it was super fun. I'd dress up for a discount (and for the fun of it too:)
